Reports to: Talent Development Systems Analyst

Functions Supervised: None

Primary Functions: Serves as back up enterprise functional expert on the Learning Management System (LMS). Assists with support of training room equipment and functions as department expert on technical aspects of training development, related programs and implementations. Support enterprise talent development initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Support LMS functionality such as reporting, feature discovery and implementation, learner management, course deployment, etc.
2. Troubleshoot and research issues related to learning systems.
3. Act as secondary liaison with software and content vendors.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on LMS processes and procedures.
5. Upload and test learning content.
6. Provide advice and support to LMS users.
7. Coordinate support for all training room technical equipment.
8. Support and maintain the Talent Development SharePoint site.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: BA in Business, Computer Science or related field preferred.

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Three years in related system technical support role.

Experience/Skills: Experience with Learning Management Systems. Ability to support a system from both the end user and technical perspective. Working knowledge of analytics, SQL, database structure and logic. Basic knowledge of web design, development, HTML and file structure. Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Tenure: Talent Development Systems Technician II, category 9, requires one year tenure in the Talent Development Systems Technician I, category 10, position (or applicable experience) with performance that meets or exceeds expectations.
